Adobe Illustrator CS (ART & MMP)
A Desktop Publishing Application, Adobe Illustrator is a text processing software which allows you to do free hand art such as curve and wave text. This software will expand your creative freedom and enhance your productivity with its new Web graphics tools, versatile transparency capabilities, powerful object and layer effects, and other innovative features.

Adobe PhotoShop CS (ART & MMP)
Adobe Photoshop software introduces us to the capability of image editing with powerful new features that offer something for every user. Delivering the broadest and most productive tool set available. Photoshop helps you explore your creativity, work efficiently, and achieve the highest quality results across all media.
American Accent Program (SPE)
The American Accent Program gives individuals the skills to speak English clearly and effectively. This program is an easy to use, interactive CD-ROM format that combines graphics, sound and voice recording for smooth accurate learning.

Borland C++ (CSC)
Borland C++ introduces the Object Components Framework, a class library that makes it easy to build OLE 2.0 capabilities into new programs and to add such capabilities easily into existing applications. Technology unique to OCF makes the processing of OLE requests a natural extension of a program’s event handling structure. OCF technology has been integrated into the Object Windows Library but does not depend upon the use of OWL. OCF is designed to work with other application frameworks. It can even be used with C++ applications written directly to the Windows API.

This is an interactive, multimedia program specifically designed to complement the student textbook. The program allows students to work on their listening, speaking, and writing skills in a fun, user-friendly environment.

Focus On Fundamentals (MUS)
The “Focus On Fundamentals CD-ROM” functions as a compendium of additional exercises and interactive activities illustrating the basic theory concepts in the text. Specific features include groups of identifying exercises, a keyboard module, and several notation areas at which the user can plot a musical passage and hear back what he or she has written. With a practical focus on developing skills, this CD presents many clear examples that show students the basics. Because students can best learn the fundamentals by using them, written and aural exercises give students the opportunity to creatively apply their knowledge in realistic music situations.

Interactive Physiology 1.0 (PHY)
The Interactive Physiology CD-ROM is an award-winning, dynamic, and highly-effective learning tool that helps students master difficult concepts through detailed animations that bring complex physiological processes to life. Includes seven modules: Muscular System o Cardiovascular System o Nervous System I The Neuron: The Action Potential o Nervous System II: Synaptic Potentials and Neurotransmitters o Respiratory System o Urinary System o Fluid, Electrolyte, and Acid/Base Balance.

Invitation (FRN)
Invitation is a text-specific, interactive learning tool designed to promote the French language, and francophone culture. It gives students the opportunity to practice their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in an interactive environment. It is also enriched with cultural activities and highly entertaining vocabulary games.

Microsoft Office 2007 Training
This software teaches students how to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Frontpage, and Access. These training CDs are ideal for students who cannot attend workshops that the LRC offers.
JCreator (CSC)
JCreator is a powerful IDE for Java. JCreator provides the user with a wide range of functionality such as : Project management, project templates, code-completion, debugger interface, editor with syntax highlighting, wizards and a fully customizable user interface. With JCreator you can directly compile or run your Java program without activating the main document first. JCreator will automatically find the file with the main method or the html file holding the java applet, then it will start the appropriate tool.

Microsoft Office 2007 (CIS)
Microsoft Office 2007 is a suite of programs that include Microsoft Access (database manager), Excel (spreadsheet), Word (word processor), and PowerPoint (presentations).

Microsoft Visual Studio .NET (CSC)
Visual Studio .NET is a complete set of development tools for building ASP Web applications, XML Web services, desktop applications, and mobile applications. Visual Basic .NET, Visual C++ .NET, Visual C# .NET, and Visual J# .NET all use the same integrated development environment (IDE), which allows them to share tools and facilitates in the creation of mixed-language solutions. In addition, these languages leverage the functionality of the .NET Framework, which provides access to key technologies that simplify the development of ASP Web applications and XML Web services.

Macromedia Studio MX (MMP)
Macromedia Studio MX is a streamline web development-integrated tool set that includes Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks and FreeHand. It includes everything you need to build a professional website.

Glenco Keyboarding  is a software training program built on a proven core curriculum. Using this great technology at home, in the office, or at school helps you develop excellent typing skills.


Primary Source Investigator (HIS)
Primary Source Interactive modules are produced by Historicus, Inc. for McGraw-Hill Higher Education. Historicus, Inc. is a group of professional historians and new media experts devoted to bringing history to life through film and digital technologies. Provided in this CD is a vibrant collection of overview videos and interactive maps. Each of these modules weaves a rich historical narrative or argument on especially significant historical topics that are difficult to grasp from the primary sources alone.

QuickBooks Pro 2006 (ACC)
QuickBooks has been designed for users who want an easy to use, double-entry accounting system, but who don’t have a background in accounting. This program provides information on how accountants can use QuickBooks to record their own financial transactions and create reports that show work in progress and profitability.

Quark Express 4.0 (ART)
Quark Express 4.0 is one of the primary choices for publishing software worldwide. Precise typography and layout tools give you an unparalleled design control and command over every aspect of your document, from conception to output. Mac Computers Only.

Sabre (TTA)
This software is designed to teach students how to make travel reservations. To use this software, you must have a Sabre software assignment on a 3 ½ inch floppy disk.

SAM 2003 (CIS)
Skills Assessment Manager 2003 (SAM 2003) is a Web-based software application
that measures your proficiency in the Microsoft Office 2003 applications suite
(Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word), Windows 2000, Windows XP and general
Internet skills.
