Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor - Mathematics (3 positions)

Performs teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise.  Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.

These are tenure track positions to start August 27, 2013.  Teach mathematics courses from development math through differential equations.  Productive scholarship, grantsmanship, mentoring student projects and service to college and department expected.  Evening/weekend schedule may be required.


Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent.  Also required are the ability to teach successfully, demonstrated scholarship or achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.

Mathematics Ph.D. or Ed.D. required.  Minimum 5 years College-level teaching experience required.  Demonstrated promise in research preferred.  Experience in one or more of the following preferred: teacher education, graphing calculators, computer algebra systems, computer-based learning, software development and/or innovative pedagogy.  For Associate Professor and Professor, the candidate must have a record of significant achievement in the field.

SALARY: Assistant Professor:  $42,873 - $74,133
Associate Professor:  $55,602 - $88,418
Professor:  $68,803 - $106,071
