DUTIES:

GENERAL DUTIES:
 
Develops and implements programming, services, and learning opportunities for students, promoting the personal development of a diverse student population.

Administers one or more student affairs programs, providing program management, assistance with policy development, supervision and training of all professional and support staff, budget monitoring, and report preparation

Serves as a resource to student groups and/or populations as a consultant and advocate for their concerns

Researches and stays current on higher education programs, trends, and issues with student impact

Produces workshops and materials support student programs; manages on-line communities; develops on-line social networking activities, and develops and maintains multimedia content on program web sites

Performs related duties as assigned.


CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION
 
The successful candidate will report to the Dean of Student Affairs and be dedicated to coordinating the Co-Curricular Transcript (CCT) program and other student development engagement and divisional assessment activities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Implementing a comprehensive program of co-curricular activities on and off campus.

Exploring and providing opportunities for students to engage in service opportunities and learn about civic responsibility on campus and at a variety of community agencies.

Collaborating with academic departments to have students participate in service activities.

Maintaining and updating students' records for out-of-classroom student experiences through the co-curricular transcript.

Administering the CCT program recruitment to meet and expand participant numbers.

Developing and maintaining CCT assessment reports.

Overseeing CCT program communication and promotional literature via newsletters, flyers, campus and social media outlets.

Facilitating workshops, meetings and presentations related to the CCT program.

Managing the CCT software used to organize and print CCT.

Reviewing student requests for involvement in CCT eligible events and activities.

Serving on the Co-Curricular Review Committee and updating the CCT catalog.

Coordinating and ensuring division-wide web information.

Assisting with division-wide assessment reports.

Providing assistance with major college-wide events such as commencement, orientation, registration, and honors convocation.

Work schedule will include some evenings and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Bachelor's degree and four years' related experience required.
 
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
 
Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in student personnel, higher education, or a related field. At least three years of full-time work experience in a higher education setting required, preferably in a diverse higher education setting with prior experience in coordinating and evaluating college-level programs (of the required total four years experience). Candidates must have excellent organizational, presentation, written and oral communication skills; have the ability to provide outstanding customer service in a fast paced, deadline driven environment; possess an understanding of the cultural, social, and educational needs of a multi-ethnic campus community. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite required, managing social media, designing promotional and informational materials. Knowledge of designing software preferable.

SALARY: $42,873 - $59,608
