Conducting your own research:
Each college in CUNY has its own Institutional Review Board (IRB). IRBs are charged with ensuring the welfare and rights of human subjects used in research. All individuals interested in conducting human subjects research are required to fill out an Application for Human Subjects Research and to submit the form to their IRB for approval. Additional information and important forms can be found at the  CUNY Human Subjects Research site.
