The curriculum of the Health Education Department is a comprehensive course of study that addresses the theoretical and practical applications of a viable personal health enterprise. The Health Education curriculum first and foremost endeavors to impart knowledge. Predicated on a health knowledge foundation the Health Education curriculum encourages students to value and nurture an appreciation of their own personal health. The Health Education curriculum completes the pedagogical blueprint by providing students the opportunity to develop and practice the skills necessary to maintain and enhance their: physical, emotional, social, intellectual, environmental and spiritual health.
