The Health Services Office provides first aid treatment, evaluation of medical emergencies, and referral services on an individual basis when necessary. Health-related counseling can be done on both a walk-in and appointment basis. Any injuries or medical emergencies should be referred to the Public Safety Office at 212-220-8080.
Throughout the year, the Health Services Office holds workshops on various health-related issues such as breast cancer, men’s and women's health, sexually transmitted diseases, asthma, and heart disease. The office also sponsors an annual health fair each spring, with screenings for cholesterol, diabetes, blood pressure, weight and fat analysis, as well as information about community health resources.
New York State Health Law 2165 regarding measles, mumps and rubella AND/OR New York State Health Law 2167 regarding meningitis are requirements that must be met by all students before registering for classes.
