Aniko N. De Laney, Managing Director Global Collateral Services Marketing BNY Mellon
Aniko is the Global Marketing Director for BNY Mellon’s Global Collateral Services (GCS) Group. GCS offers a comprehensive suite of collateral management, securities finance, liquidity and derivatives services to help buy-side and sell-side institutions better manage their collateral and meet their securities financing and liquidity needs. She manages a global team that develops, implements and manages global marketing and communication strategies.
Prior to her appointment to this role in late 2012, she was Global Marketing Director for the company’s Alternative and Broker Dealer Services (ABDS). Through a suite of related businesses, ABDS delivers a range of services including: hedge fund, fund of hedge fund and private equity administration and alternative prime custody; securities clearance; collateral management and derivatives services. From 2000 through 2007, Aniko was the Group Marketing Manager for the company’s Asset Servicing business, responsible for marketing custody, global funds, alternative investment, securities lending, U.S. government clearance and global risk services. She was also the Group Marketing Manager for U.S. Client Management sectors including insurance companies, investment managers, hedge funds, non-profit, securities industry and corporations. Aniko has driven efforts to publish Thought Leadership white papers showcasing BNY Mellon’s expertise in industry issues.
In 1990, Aniko joined the Bank as a retail management trainee. Her experience in the Retail Bank sector includes assistant branch manager, operations and marketing.
Aniko is a member of BNY Mellon’s Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) Executive Committee, an Advisory Board Member of Frost & Sullivan’s Marketing Conference group, a member of the Women’s Financial Association, Corporate Financial Group and the Middlebury College’s Alumni Admissions Committee.
Aniko received her B.A. in French literature from Middlebury College and her MBA in finance and marketing from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
