Karen Wenderoff
VP College Development, COO
Karen Wenderoff is Vice President for College Development and Chief Operating Officer of the Borough of Manhattan Community College Foundation. Prior to BMCC, Ms. Wenderoff spent six years at Brooklyn Public Library (BPL), first as Director of Development, and then as acting President for the Brooklyn Public Library Foundation, as that institution expanded its fundraising capacity, leading the organization in its first capital campaign. Prior to BPL, Karen held the position of Director of Development for the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, where she managed the organization’s first capital campaign. She holds a B.A. from the University of California at Santa Cruz and an M.F.A. from New York University.

Brian Haller
Director of Foundation/Corporate Relations
Brian Haller is the Director of Foundation and Corporate Relations. Before beginning his career in educational development at The City College of New York, Brian worked in the CBS Newsroom in Philip Morris’ Corporate Contributions Department and the Ford Foundation. Brian is a graduate of Tulane and New York Universities.

Patricia Splendore
Director of BMCC Annual Fund / Alumni Affairs
Patricia Splendore is the Director of the BMCC Annual Fund and Alumni Affairs. Her prior work included expanding a donor and membership program for Brooklyn Public Library, and many years directing cultural public programming and special events in Manhattan. Ms. Splendore, who is a graduate of Fordham University and Hunter College, communicates with BMCC's 50,000+ alumni and other supporters, and coordinates donor events and alumni reunions and programs here at BMCC.

Jillian Brewster
Database Manager
Jillian Brewster manages the department's database, as well as supports all of the department's fundraising endeavors. With a B.A. in psychology from Amherst College, she has been working in the nonprofit field ever since she graduated. Prior to BMCC, Jillian was a Development Assistant for the Roundabout Theatre Company. She also served in the Americorps Volunteer in Service to America (VISTA) program and was an assistant to the Senior Fundraising Officer at UNICEF.
