Financial Aid
When should I apply?
Apply for financial aid as soon as you have made your decision to attend BMCC. You do not have to wait until you are formally admitted to the college before applying for aid.
The Financial Aid Office establishes priority filing deadlines to help insure your applications are processed and funds are available before your tuition bill is due and you have to buy books.

For detailed deadline information, go to our APPLICATIONS & AWARD DEADLINES page. If you miss these posted deadlines, you may still apply for financial aid, but not all funds will be available. Some award programs with limited funding are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Allow at least 4-6 weeks processing time for your application(s). The college will credit financial aid awards toward your tuition charges only if your applications have been processed.

If the Bursar's Office does not have enough information for your awards to print on your bill, you will be expected to settle the bill from your own resources until processing of your financial aid applications is completed.
