Need a BMCC
E-mail Account for Yourself? Or Having Problems with Your E-mail?
Full-time faculty can obtain a BMCC (Lotus Notes) e-mail account by
filling out a form available through the HelpDesk. The form must be
signed by the departmental chairperson. For any difficulty with your
Lotus Notes e-mail account, get in touch with the HelpDesk.

Need AV Equipment?
The Media Center has in stock a large assortment of AV equipment to
lend to faculty for specific professional occasions. For example,
the Center loans out computer projectors, VCRs, video cameras, digital
cameras, laptops, phonographs and DVD players. Some of the equipment
is subject to approval by the Office of Academic Affairs.

Need Help in
Setting Up a Computer Demo in Your Classroom Either with Stand-alone
Software or with the Web?
Portable Windows and Macintosh computers with LCD projectors are available
in the Media Center for use in classrooms. The Media Center will also
check that your classroom is connected to the colleges "backbone"
for Web access.

to install additional software. Information Technology staff will

Borrow Video Tapes?
The Library has an extensive collection of video-taped instructional
material, including PBS shows, which faculty may borrow to screen
in class.

Need to Copy a Videotape, CD or Audio
Cassette?
The Media Center can, upon approval, duplicate all major videotape
formats as well as audiocassettes and CD-ROMS, and convert tapes
from the formats used in Europe, Africa and Asia. The Center can
also send a TV program to most classrooms at 199 Chambers Street.

College?
The Media Center operates teleconferencing facilities available
to faculty. Subject to approval by the Office of Academic Affairs.

The Media Center can downlink programs from most satellites at no
charge other than the licensing fee, as well as originating programs
