In
order to participate fully in BMCC's online learning
courses, you need
:
a.
to own or have access a Pentium
computer with modem or network connection to the Internet; you
have access to this computer 3-4 days a week and for a lengthy
period of time; if your only access to a computer with internet
connectivity is from your office, that may not be sufficient.
b.
an Internet Service Provider (ISP)
like Earthlink, Netzero, or AOL that will allow you to connect
to the internet;
c.
an Internet browser, like Netscape
(must be 4.x or over) or Internet Explorer (5.0 or above); if
you are using AOL, it must be version 5.0 or above.
d.
Microsoft WORD 97 or higher (Economics
and some math courses will require Microsoft Excel).
Further,
you must be able to:

Microsoft Office
If you do not have Microsoft Office products installed on your computer,
you can still view and print files created in MS Office.
Simply download the appropriate viewer
for your operating system. If you do not see the your system listed
below, check the Microsoft
Office site for further help.
