The College Opportunity to Prepare for Employment (COPE) Program addresses the needs of non-traditional families and individuals meeting specific income guidelines to reduce student barriers to education and employment. 

In addition, the program provides ongoing support to help COPE students identify and define personal and career goals, to develop effective life management skills, and better utilize services and appropriate systems to promote their long-term autonomy. The COPE Program is funded by and operated in collaboration with the Family Independence Administration of the City of New York.As a COPE student you will be eligible to receive the following services:

  • Academic and Personal Advising
  • Job Search Assistance
  • Job Readiness Workshops
  • Free Interview and Employment Clothing Referral
  • Academic Tutoring
  • Provide/Complete and assist with HRA documentation
  • Opportunities to participate in workshops/seminars
