The Purpose of the Peer Mentoring Club is to increase the rentention of students who are academically at risk and to serve as role models to them. A general definition of mentoring can be defined as a one-one relationship between a more experienced person (mentor) and a less experienced person (mentee). It is a relationship based on mutual understanding and the enhancement of one\'s full potential. These honor students volunteer their time to mentor their fellow students in need to academic and other support.
