Consider an on-line course at BMCC, whether you are interested in earning a certificate to start a new career or advance within your chosen field, BMCC offers a wide range of highly interactive, self-paced courses and programs to help you meet your goals.
All of our courses are facilitated by expert instructors, all of whom are Subject Matter Experts in your field of study, and currently work in the arena as well. Our online courses are affordable, fun, fast, easy to register, convenient, and geared just for you.
The Borough of Manhattan Community College offers on-line courses, in partnership with Gatlin Education Services (GES) and Education to Go (Ed2Go). The classes all feature weekly or monthly start dates, so you can begin your studies as soon as you are ready.
Ed2Go Courses: Education to Go (Ed2Go)
For short-term courses of personal interest or for personal development, we have chosen to partner with Ed-2-Go which offers over 300 class start dates each month. Options range from Test Preparation to Grant Writing to Computer or Photography courses and more. A dedicated professional instructor facilitates every course; pacing learners, answering questions, giving feedback, and facilitating discussions. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be able to download a certificate of completion. Typical price for these courses is $99.

Gatlin Education Courses: Gatlin Education Services (GES)
For longer term programs of study, particularly career training and career change options, BMCC Continuing Education has chosen to partner with Gatlin Education Services. Gatlin is the country’s largest provider of web-based career training courses offering instruction in Healthcare, Business and Professional, IT and Software Development, Media and Design, and much more.
These online courses are ideal for individuals looking to switch career paths, obtain advanced training and certifications, or for first time job seekers who need specialized training. These career-focused courses are designed to give you the latest in learning, and to provide the skills necessary to acquire professional positions in many in-demand occupations.
The courses are all open enrollment and self-paced, and students are paired with a personal instructor. Courses take an average of 90 days to complete and provide training for entry-level positions. There is financial aid for these courses thru Gatlin.
