 My
Club Experience
As an incoming freshman in 2002, I had the opportunity to join the
College Discovery Club (CDers). Since then I’ve been an active
member. I’ve conquered being just an ordinary member to becoming
Vice President. Our club has gone to retreats with little personal
expenses to our members. Past trips have included Philadelphia, PA;
Boston, Mass; and Hartford, Conn. Each time we went on a trip we left
with a world of knowledge, good times, and lasting friendships.
Today, my role as vice president is important because fellow members
look up to me. I hope to help others move on to becoming future leaders
and to raise the CDers club to a whole new level of excitement and
leadership.
