CD’ers (College Discovery Club)

On Saturday, April 22, 2006 on their semi-annual
Leadership Retreat the CD’ers (College Discovery Club) visited Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass. They were fortunate and social enough to meet Harvard sophomore, Mr. Raymond Jean, who offered to show them around.

Mr. Robert Thomas-Walker and Safriya King, both College Discovery students and members of the club, are seriously considering applying to the Ivy League institution.

Safriya, Jessie, and Robert, are available to share their
experience with any student who would like to learn more about Harvard, or the history of
Boston, Massachusetts.

The CD’ers also had fun in Boston.

They saw the restaurant that served as the inspiration for the television show, Cheers.

And, enjoyed a scenic ferry ride around Boston
Harbor.

Frank Sinigaglia is the Faculty Advisor to the club.
Mr. Orville Hill is the Director of the College Discovery Program.
