I entered BMCC as a College Discovery Student in the Fall of 1999.
I had only arrived to the U.S., from my native Dominican Republic,
two years before. I graduated with honors in the spring of 2002 with
an Associates degree in Liberal Arts. I went on to study at Hunter
College where I just received my Bachelors of Arts this past June
8th, 2005. My experience at BMCC helped tremendously. I was able to
graduate Magna Cum Laude at Hunter with a double major of Spanish
and Italian Literature. I am sure I would not have been able to accomplish
this without the help of the College Discovery program and BMCC.
