Photo: Cynthia Martin This is my story since I left BMCC, I transferred to Hunter College and received my BA / a double major degree in Studio Art and English Language Art in January 2001. Then I continued my education pursuing an MA in Childhood Education. I have written three children's books; The dragon, the princess, and the Cobbler's son with RoseDog Books, Jelly Fish Jane - is in the process of becoming published with Vantage Press, and I am currently working on the illustrations for my latest book.

At present, I am working as a Per Diem Substitute Teacher with the New York City Department of Education, and attending Hunter. I have other aspects in life to enter into such as the Business Sector somewhere down the road of success. Also, I would like to pursue my Ph.D in Art and Education.

To all of my fellow students that are struggling to pursue their dreams, I say to them, never give up the struggle establish the goals that you want to achieve in life. As for myself, I enjoy working in the field of Education!
