All CD students are assigned to one of two academic advisors. Students assigned to Dr. Faison & Dr. Wilson are assigned to Mr. Nelson Izquierdo. Students assigned to Dr. Perez and Prof. Rozzelle are assigned to Mr. Adrienne Solomon. To make certain that students are following their class courses of study appropriately, students are required to meet with their assigned advisor at least once each semester to plan their program for the following semester.

1. All College Discovery students in CAREER PROGRAMS receive advisement from faculty advisors in their CAREER PROGRAM DEPARTMENT
   (For example, if your major is Computer Programming, you should go to the Computer Information Systems Department).
   See Advisement and Registration directions.
   
   Once advised, students must see their assigned College Discovery advisor before going to the next step of making the appointment for registration.
   
   
2. All College Discovery students who are Liberal Arts major must see their assigned academic advisor for advisement.
   
   **Do not rush through this process. Your graduation is important and should be carefully planned.
   In addition, College Discovery students meet with their assigned academic advisor to receive assistance and information regarding their withdrawal from courses, academic standing, rate of progress, classroom performance, academic probation, and academic dismissal.
