Getting Started

Step 1: Create Your CCT Account Online

  • Go to www.bmcc.cuny.edu
  • Login to the BMCC PORTAL using your BMCC username and password
  • Click on the CCT ICON
  • Click on your name on the top right hand corner and go to, “My Profile” to check that the information listed is correct and up to date. The information listed on your profile will appear on your official Co-Curricular Transcript. To make changes click on the “Edit Your Profile” button, make the necessary changes and click on the green “Continue” button and then “Finish” button.

Step 2: Get Involved

Join a student organization or athletic team, take a leadership role, or participate in BMCC recognized activities. If you need help getting involved, please stop by the Student Activities Office in room S234 . You can also email us at cct@bmcc.cuny.edu to find out more.

Step 3: Keep Your Own Records

Keep documentation of your participation in official BMCC activities or programs each semester. If you need assistance in helping you stay organized, check out the transcript involvement log under the "CCT Resources" on the left hand menu bar.


Step 4: Adding Membership in a BMCC Althetic Team, Club or Organization

  • Log into the BMCC Portal and click on the CCT Icon to get access to your CCT
  • Click on your name on the top right hand corner then click on INVOLVEMENT
  • Click on the green button on the right hand side that says ADD INVOLVEMENT ENTRY
  • On the pop up box, click on ORGANIZATION MEMBERSHIP
  • Select the appropriate sport, club or organization from the list
  • Fill in the dates you were a member
  • Write in the position you held (i.e. Forward, Goalie, Secretary, President, etc) and the date you held that position. If you held multiple position, please click on “Add Another Position” to add each one separately
  • Fill in the contact information for the BMCC Coach, Faculty or Staff Advisor only (do not put in the team captains or club officers as references)
  • Make sure the box that says "Show on Full Involvement Record" is checked
  • Click SUBMIT INVOLVEMENT ENTRY
  • Your membership in this organization has now been submitted for approval and is pending verification
  • Once approved the organization will automatically be added to your CCT

Step 5: Adding Event Participation in Community Service, Honors & Awards, Leadership Training or Workshops & Seminars

  • Log into the BMCC Portal and click on the CCT Icon to get access to your CCT
  • Click on your name on the top right hand corner then click on INVOLVEMENT
  • Click on the green button on the right hand side that says ADD INVOLVEMENT ENTRY
  • On the pop up box, click on EVENT PARTICIPATION
  • Select Co-Curricular Transcript Portal from the drop down menu
  • Select the appropriate category for the activity you are entering from the second drop down menu (i.e. Community Service, Honors & Awards, Leadership Training and Workshops & Seminars)
  • Under Agency write the BMCC Department sponsoring the event (i.e. Student Activities, Math Department, Womens Resource Center, etc)
  • Under Activity Name write the name of the activity (i.e. BMCC Peer Mentor, BEST Volunteer Event, Resume Workshop, etc)
  • Enter the date of the volunteer event, when you received your award or participated in the leadership training program or workshop and seminar.
  • Enter the total number of hours completed
  • Choose your role from the drop down menu (i.e. Community Service = volunteer, Honors & Awards = recipient, Leadership Training = participant , Workshops & Seminars = attendee)
  • Enter the contact information for the BMCC Faculty or Staff responsible for the event in the reference field
  • Click SUBMIT INVOLVEMENT ENTRY
  • Your activity entry has now been submitted for approval and is pending verification
  • Once approved the activity will automatically be added to your CCT
