Fundamentals of Speech for the Non-Native
Speaker |

The course is intended for those who desire special
emphasis in vocabulary building, pronunciation, enunciation
and mechanics of effective delivery. This class is particularly
recommended for those whose native language is not English
as well as those wishing concentration in speech and
language skills. Class work is implemented through
the use of recordings, individual and group drills, interpersonal
exercises, oral reading, impromptu and prepared group
discussion and speeches. Weekly speech tutoring is required.
This course may be taken in place of SPE 100 and satisfies
the requirement for Speech. |
