This course is designed principally for those students
who intend to pursue professional careers in fields
such as economics, accounting, finance, management
and administration. It is also opened to highly motivated
students in other areas. The course will focus on price
theory in conjunction with: the laws of supply and demand,
the analysis of cost, profit, market structure, production
theory, and the pricing of productive factors. Significant
contemporary economic problems will also be investigated. |
