ECE 401 Supervised Instructional Experience With Young Children
4 crs. 1 hr. 6 lab hrs.

This course deals with the application of theory through supervised observation and student teaching in the pre-school setting. This experience is implemented by a weekly lecture designed to coordinate the curriculum sequence with practical experience, thus preparing the prospective assistant teacher to assume his or her role upon commencement. The student spends a minimum of 90 hours in the field.

Prerequisites: ECE 301, ECE 302
