The film Looking for Langston explores and honors the issue of black queer identity and intimacy.
I Am Not Your Negro is a film which examines race in America using James Baldwin's personal accounts of the three close friends—Medgar Evers, Malcolm X and Martin Luther KIng Jr.—to question the black male representation in Hollywood and beyond.
This event is free and open to the public.
These films are being presented by the Center for Ethnic Studies as part of the course AFN 129 Contemporary Black Male: Any Upheaval in the Universe.
