In observation of Asian Heritage Month, we’re welcoming two poets and a fiction writer to the table to read their newest work and share their latest obsessions.

Hossannah Asuncion teaches, eats, and chihuahuas. She has received fellowships from Kundiman, The Poetry Society of America, and The Laundromat Project. Her first collection, Object Permanence, is out from Magic Helicopter Press.
Chiwan Choi is the author of three collections of poetry, The Flood (Tia Chucha Press, 2010), Abductions (Writ Large Press, 2012), and The Yellow House (CCM, 2017). He wrote, presented, and destroyed the novel Ghostmaker throughout the course of 2015. Chiwan is a partner at Write Large Press, a downtown Los Angeles based indie publisher, focused on using literary arts to resist, disrupt, and transgress.
Ed Lin is a native New Yorker of Taiwanese and Chinese descent. He is the first author to win three Asian American Literary Awards. Lin lives in Brooklyn with his wife, actress Cindy Cheung, and son.
