Professional actors will read 10 screenplays/TV pilot scripts created by BMCC students selected as Fellows in the Time Warner Screenwriting Course launched September 10 and led by BMCC Professor George Stevenson.
The Screenwriting Fellows met for 14 Saturdays, four hours a day in Fall 2016 to develop their drafts. Thanks to generous funding from the Time Warner Foundation, they were provided with free transportation, lunch, books and film costs, as well as screenwriting software and laptop computers. Students who complete the full program will be allowed to keep the laptops.
This event is free and open to the public.
Special guests at the event will include:
Diahann Billings-Burford, Executive Director of Corporate Responsibility, Time Warner (Forty Over 40, Philanthropy New York, Council of Urban Professionals)
