Accounting Workshop(January 22, 23, and 24, 2013)
Students enrolled in Accounting Principles I (ACC 122) are invited to a workshop designed to help students in accounting. Mastery of the first two chapters of ACC 122 is an essential for success in the course. The topics covered in the workshop, include:
The Accounting Equation
The Double-Entry System
Accrual Accounting
Preparation of Financial Statements
The workshop will be taught by Prof. Joel Barker and experienced accounting tutors will be on hand at the end of each lecture to guide students through additional accounting exercises. Students who have taken this class before and want or need a “refresher” are also invited.
The workshop consists of three consecutive sessions. Students are encouraged to attend all three sessions. Attending only one session is of minimal value. You will have an opportunity to ask additional questions after the lecture.
