Business majors are required to take an internship.
Internships are offered in the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters
in the following concentrations:

General Management |

Marketing |

Small Business/Entrepreneurship |

Travel & Tourism |

Sample Internship Duties
Interns will apply theory learned in major concentration to gain practical
business experience and skills in some of the following areas:entering
data, providing customer service, developing advertising/marketing
skills, recording financial transactions, processing travel reservations,
promoting sales, conducting front desk operations, assisting in small
business operations, and performing a variety of other business-related
tasks. To be eligible for a
Business Management Internship you must:

have an overall GPA of 2.0 or above |
 |
have 24 credits completed |
 |
have at least 2 courses completed in your business
concentration |
 |
be available to work 12-15 hours per week |
