Log into the CUNY Portal first.

Then click on Spring '09 Courses - Blackboard 8.0 to access your Spring 2009 courses. 

You will not see your Spring 09 course unless your instructor makes the course available.

Please do not click on Blackboard 6.3 Courses unless you want to enter your Fall 2008 or earlier courses.  You will probably not see any courses available unless you are finishing an incomplete.

At www.cuny.edu, click the Portal Log-in link.

If you do not have an account at the Portal, click on "Register Now!" You will be asked to enter your last name, social security number, and date of birth.  Then you can create an account.  

Click on "Forgot your Username or Password".

You can either have your password emailed to you, or reset it.  If you choose to reset it you will be asked to enter your last name, social security number, and date of birth.  Then you can see your username and change your password.  

Once you are in the Blackboard Home tab (where you see your courses listed), on the left side you will see the Tools panel. 

Click on "Update Email" to change your address to any CUNY email address. You CANNOT change your Blackboard email address to a non-CUNY email address. 

Also, please note that this does not update the email address for your CUNY Portal account.
