BMCC Direct Admissions for Spring 2015

The Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) Admissions Office will begin accepting direct admission applications for the Spring 2015 semester beginning Monday, November 17, 2014. Transfer students with college or university transcripts from outside of the United States or students with a non-immigrant visa (ie. H, F, J visa) must apply directly with The City University of New York for the next semester. Please click here.

To meet with an Admissions representative to be assisted to file the CUNY online application, as well as review your admissions eligibility, you must secure an appointment by filing the following form:

Freshman applicants must:

  • Provide official high school transcript(s) (in a sealed envelope) indicating date of graduation OR official high school diploma
  • Or official State issued *High School Equivalency (GED) diploma and with scores
  • Pay the non-refundable $65.00 CUNY application processing fee. The easiest and fastest way to pay the fee is online by Visa or Mastercard.

* The process for earning a high school equivalency diploma changed effective January 2014. In New York State, students must take the Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC). However, CUNY will also consider the following credentials for admission purposes: High School Equivalency Test (HiSET), the “new” GED Tests, the “old” GED and the International GED. Transfer applicants must:

  • Provide official Transcript(s) from all colleges/universities attended (in a sealed envelope). No student copies, term reports or printouts will be accepted.
  • Pay the non-refundable $70.00 CUNY application processing fee. The easiest and fastest way to pay the fee is online by Visa or Mastercard.
