Academic advisement at BMCC is more than scheduling classes. Students are looking to you for structured guidance during their academic career. Your exchange with students during advisement is integral to their retention and success at the college. Your role is pivotal, in that you are an important key that helps connect students to the college and vice versa. Proper advisement is a process that aids students in reaching their goals through academic and personal growth.
