BMCC's
support for learning is superior. Whether you need academic
or career planning advice, or even tutoring, we've got people
who can help you.
The Learning
Resource Center coordinates tutorial programs, instructional
computer labs, study skills workshops, and more . . .
all free of charge
The BMCC
Tutoring Program offers individual and small group
tutoring, scheduled weekly and on Saturday by appointment.
The Cooperative
Education Department offers internships where you
can apply your classroom theory to practical work situations
in business, industry, government, or service areas. You
put into practice what you learn, and you often earn a
salary along with credit toward your degree.
In BMCC's
Study Abroad Program, you can learn firsthand about
places like Senegal, Italy, and Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean.
This intensive and challenging program will provide you
with new perspectives on yourself and others. It will
also offer enriching and memorable experiences.
The BMCC
Early Childhood Center and its Family Daycare Network
offer child-care for students who need someone to watch
their children while they are in class.
The Office
of Disabilities provides aid such as notetakers, readers,
interpreters, tape recorders, calculators, spell checkers,
and testing accommodations to any student with identified
medical or physical limitations.
Our
outstanding library,
computing facilities and courses that integrate computer
learning are attracting attention, and our study abroad
and internship programs offer even more exciting ways
to learn.
