Information
for
International Students |
|
BMCC prides itself
on its international student body. Our students come from over 100
different countries.
More international students study at Borough of Manhattan Community
College than at any other community college in the Northeast. In fact,
BMCC ranks fifth nationwide in the number of international students
enrolled according to a report issued by the Institute of International
Education.
What's more, at BMCC, international students occupy key leadership
positions in student
activities. Many members of student government and leaders of
clubs are international students.
International students are defined as people holding temporary student
visas who are enrolled in college courses in the United States. Immigrants
(permanent residents), citizens, refugees, and resident aliens are
not considered international students.
