International Students In the US
If you are an international student INSIDE the United States, and you already have an F-1 student visa:

1. Fill out the BMCC Request for I-20 form. INS Form 1-20 is the certificate of eligibility for student (F-1) status.

Why do students need to apply for an I-20?
2. Fill out the Statement of Financial Resources. Gather your financial documents, and submit them in a package to:

International Student Admissions
Borough of Manhattan Community College
199 Chambers Street,
Room S300,
New York, New York
10007.

Why do students need to prove financial ability?
YOU MUST complete steps 1 and 2 no later than the 15th day of classes at BMCC.

Once you are enrolled at BMCC, do not travel outside the US on your previous school's Form I-20. If you do so, you will lose your legal status.
