Transfer Policy
Effective for admission to the spring 2010 semester, BMCC will set the following admission policy for students who wish to transfer to the college:
I. BMCC will accept students who, in their last semester at their previous institution of higher education, were in good academic standing with a GPA of 2.00 or above.
II. BMCC will place on a wait list those students with GPA’s below 2.00 and were academically dismissed for the first time in their last semester at their previous institution of higher education. These students will only be accepted on a space available basis.
III. BMCC will not accept students who were academically dismissed for the second time or more in the last semester that they attended their previous institution of higher education.
When to apply
You
should apply as early as possible; however, your application will
be considered whenever you apply.
