How do I setup my voicemail?
You dial 8199 or 212-220-8199 (from outside) and follow the setup prompts. It is suggested that you use the handset to customize your voice mail. This will give you a better quality recording and will eliminate what is known as white noise levels. When you setup your voicemail for the first time you will be prompted to change your PSWD. It is suggested that you keep PSWD's in a safe place so that you can reference (in case you forget).

All handsets have a keyboard under the front cover. Open the cover and start typing the first few letters of the person you want to call eg. "giu" and then hit the enter key(arrow pointing towards the keyboard) and the follow the prompts on the screen.

I have a 7XXX extension. How is that different?
With 7XXX extensions you can make outbound calls and call within the college. You CAN NOT receive calls from the outside. Phones with this type of extension should have the presence of a number that can receive outside calls.

What are extensions in the 7300 - 7416 range?
These are Emergency analog phones. They access the telephone system using a different pair of wires and should only be used if the primary IP Telephones are not working. They should not be used to conduct daily college business.
