| The Office of Athletics, Recreation, and Intramural
provides an opportunity for BMCC students to participate in intercollegiate
and intramural activities sport activities.
BMCC's intercollegiate teams include baseball, volleyball, men's
and women's basketball, men's soccer, and more. Recreational activities
such as weight training, swimming and aerobic fitness training
machines provide students, faculty and the community-at-large the
opportunity to participate in a variety of leisure pursuits.
In addition, individual instruction may be provided by
request.
Intramural Activities
The leisure program is comprised of diversified physical, intellectual
and social activities that allow students, faculty, staff and
the community-at-large the opportunity to participate in a variety
of leisure pursuits that are congruent with their particular
lifestyles.
Participants may satisfy their leisure needs by participating
in formal classes (noncredit) that emphasize individual instruction
or by engaging in informal, self-paced activity. The leisure program
sponsors classes in martial arts, physical fitness, swimming, and
weight training. For more info about

Special events include the annual Harold Solomon, Jr. 5K Run,
the Indoor Triathlon, and ski outings (in conjunction with Student

Intercollegiate Sports
Intercollegiate sports are formal intensive athletic programs for
students who are interested in joining a team to compete with
other colleges. BMCC's teams include baseball, men's and women's
basketball, women's volleyball and men's soccer.
Participants can attend intercollegiate athletic
events free of charge.
