| INTERNSHIPS |
| Accounting majors are required to take an internship.
Internships are offered in the fall, spring, and summer semesters. |
On your Accounting internship, you
will gain up-to-date experience in one or more of the following: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Auditing, Balancing, Bank Reconciliations, Billing, Budgeting, Cost Accounting, Debiting/Crediting, Financial Statements, General Ledger Entries,Journal Entries, Payroll, Posting, Taxation while utilizing accounting computer software packages,
spreadsheet programs, and a wide variety of general office skills. |

| To be eligible for an accounting internship you
must: |

have an overall
GPA of 2.0 or above |
 |
have completed
at least 2 courses in accounting |
 |
have completed
the career planning course(CED 201) |
 |
be available
to work 12-15 hours per week, a minimum of 150 hours during
the semester |
