The Accounting Program is designed to
provide the student with a strong preparation
in accounting, business and liberal arts. The
Accounting Program prepares students for
entry-level positions in the accounting field.
In addition, a large percentage of students
choose to continue their education at four-year
colleges in order to become certified public
accountants (CPA). CPA’s can have their
own companies or work in public, private or
government accounting.Upon completion of
the requirements listed below, the Associate of
Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree is awarded.
Evening/Weekend Accounting Program
In addition, BMCC offers an Associate
in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in
Accounting in an evening/weekend format.
Students may complete their degree
requirements by attending classes exclusively
on Friday evenings and on the weekends. |
