Computer Information Systems
Video Arts and Technology
they must complete the Career Planning course (CED 201).
Career Planning is optional in:

Pre-Registration
All students must attend the department's Pre-Registration Orientation, which are held during the Academic Advisement period. Attendance at these orientation sessions is mandatory.
At the orientation, students will complete an application, will meet with a Cooperative Education Faculty Coordinator, and receive written permission to take an internship. Only those students with written permission will be allowed to register for an internship.
When the semester begins
At the beginning of the semester students must report to their internship coordinators according to the appointment schedule that each student is mailed two weeks prior to the start of the term to begin the placement process and to discuss requirements. After placement the coordinator monitors the interns’ progress during the semester and administers a final grade. Students must maintain regular contact with their coordinators following specified guidelines.
Work Schedules
All Cooperative Education interns are expected to work fifteen hours a week until the end of the semester. Summer students may be required to work until the end of July or longer. Students generally work part-time following one of three work profiles: M-F 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, M-F 1:00–5:00 PM or 2-3 full days 9:00 AM–5:00Pm. Weekend and evening internships are seldom available and no student will ever be promised those hours.
